What We Support

Don’t you wish, when you make a donation to some worthy cause, you actually knew what your donation dollars did?  So do we.  That’s why, from Day One – and every day after that – Friends of Honeybees will tell you exactly what research we’re currently contributing to, where they are, and who you can contact to confirm what we say.

We’ll tell you our target goals for support of specific programs, how close we are to reaching those goals, and what community-based projects we’re about to launch…or types of local initiatives we would like to support.

We’ll also tell you about what’s happening with the Buzz for Bees Campaign in each state, region and community so that you’ll be able to track the significance and impact of your own Buzz in your own life, state and country.

Friends of Honeybees takes this straightforward attitude because we keep running across good-sounding pro-honeybee projects, products or sites that request donations and … then, well, sorry, they rarely tell you if any money is actually donated, let alone to whom.  We’ll treat you the way we would want to be treated.

Besides, it’s fascinating and fun to catch glimpses over the shoulders of researchers solving a world-class riddle – like this one.
